Petitioning the Big Three for Ethics and Responsibility
I am tired of being taken advantage of by ETS, ACT Inc, and College Board.
These corporations are abusing their nonprofit statuses by by gouging students who are required to take their tests, and using their enormous profits to pay for exorbitant compensation packages, massive investment accounts, and extensive political lobbying. All the while, these companies consistently treat American test-takers unfairly by engaging in unethical practices and being unresponsive to legitimate complaints.
As non-profit companies, ETS, ACT Inc, and College Board have accepted the responsibility of putting test-takers' interests first. These companies must take responsibility for their vital roles as America's most important standardized testing companies, and begin to act with a sense of fairness and ethics.
I demand that ETS, ACT Inc, and College Board only operate with:
• Reasonable prices
• Ethical practices
• A steadfast commitment to their promise to serve American students and educators as not-for-profit organizations.
